Intermediate bulk containers (IBC) are reusable industrial containers, which are designed for the safe transportation and storage of bulk liquids. They are stackable containers, mounted on a pallet that is designed to be moved using a forklift or pallet jack.
The reconditioning process this IBC goes through consists of removing any type of residual product, chemical cleaning and leak testing. This process allows for more budget friendly products.
The inner bottle of this container is manufactured from blow moulded high density polyethylene with bevelled edges. This material creates a strong and durable base for the container.
The tubular galvanised steel frame around the container guarantees utmost stability. This also fits perfectly into the grooves of a plastic pallet; both below and above the container which enables an exact positioning and problem-free stacking.
This IBC is recommended to hold liquids up to a maximum density of 1.6.
What Is A Reconditioned IBC?
This non UN approved product means it has a classification of non-hazardous liquid storage. Although these products are reconditioned to a high standard, we cannot guarantee what they were used for previously. Therefore we do not recommend they are used for product consumed by humans or animals, including the food, drink or pharmaceutical industry.
*Image is used for illustration purposes only – the look of the IBC supplied may vary slightly whilst dimensions remain the same. This is due to suppliers reconditioning numerous containers from different manufacturers so may differ in appearance.
