IBC Tap - S60X6 (2 Inch) x Brass Tap to 1/2" Snap on Connector

Our IBC tap fits the standard UK & European IBC Containers (S60X6), converting the IBC thread to a useful on/off brass bib tap with ½" (12.5mm) Hozelock adaptor. The tap is suitable for a standard ½" UK garden hose that is fitted with a ½" Hozelock or snap-on hose connector. It also works as a great back-up valve.

Because the outlets on IBC's are so large, it can be difficult to control the flow. Attaching a tap reduces it down and makes it easier to fill jerry cans, watering cans and other containers.

The ½" tap can be simply unscrewed and swapped when needed, which may come in handy when swapping to a larger sized hose. The tap fitting comes with ½” BSP threads to allow each part of the fitting to be interchanged or adapted further.

BSP is the standard connection type for most plumbing parts in the UK, so fittings are available nine times out of ten.

PTFE tape can be purchased as an optional extra. This is useful to prevent leaks between the tap and the plastic adaptor.
