The 6800 Litre Cascade Underground Rainwater Harvesting Garden System is designed for collecting, storing and reusing rainwater for garden, landscaping and light commercial applications.

The Cascade system incorporates additional water management features, including a calmed inlet and floating intake, helping to keep stored rainwater cleaner and fresher within the tank. Its B Series stainless steel pump also provides a dependable water supply for irrigation and other outdoor applications.

6800 Litre Underground Tank

The 6800 litre underground tank is rotationally moulded from high-strength polyethylene and designed to provide excellent structural strength while maintaining a relatively low profile.

Its reduced height means a shallower excavation can be required compared with taller underground tanks, helping to simplify installation and making it particularly useful where excavation depth is restricted.

The ribbed construction provides additional strength while allowing the tank to be installed using an appropriate pea gravel backfill, subject to the manufacturer's installation requirements.

Its curved internal profile also helps direct stored water towards the pump, allowing water towards the bottom of the tank to be effectively utilised.

With correct installation and routine maintenance, the tank is designed to provide a long service life and is supplied with a 10-year warranty.

Patronen Filter

The Patronen Filter, also referred to as a PF filter, helps remove leaves, grit and other debris from incoming rainwater before it enters the main storage area.

The filter incorporates a stainless steel mesh cartridge within a plastic housing. Its level-drop design and smooth internal surface allow excess debris to pass through towards the overflow.

The filter is designed to be self-cleaning, although regular inspection is recommended to maintain effective operation.

Calmed Inlet

The calmed inlet reduces the kinetic energy of incoming rainwater before introducing it into the tank.

Rather than allowing incoming water to disturb sediment settled at the bottom of the tank, the calmed inlet introduces it more gently. This helps maintain water quality and reduces the amount of sediment disturbed within the stored rainwater.

B Series Stainless Steel Submersible Pump

The Cascade system uses a B Series stainless steel submersible pump, suitable for applications including rainwater harvesting, domestic water systems, surface irrigation and water transfer.

Installed within the tank, the pump supplies harvested water to external applications such as irrigation systems, outside taps and hose-fed equipment.

The pump is combined with a float switch, which helps protect it from running dry when the stored water level becomes too low.

Pump Lifting Chain

The supplied pump lifting chain allows the submersible pump to be raised towards the top of the tank more easily for inspection, servicing or maintenance.

Pump Turret

The pump turret provides the connection between the submersible pump and the pipework supplying external applications.

Manufactured from flexible plastic, it is designed to accommodate the pressurised water supplied by the pump and direct it towards the required point of use.

Floating Intake

The floating intake helps improve the quality of water supplied to the pump.

Instead of drawing water directly from the surface or the bottom of the tank, where floating debris or settled sediment may be present, the intake draws water from between these areas.

This helps ensure cleaner stored rainwater passes through the pump and onwards to the point of use.

Rodent Guard

The rodent guard helps prevent rodents and larger debris from entering the tank through the overflow, reducing the risk of contamination of the stored rainwater.

Delivery Hose

A delivery hose is supplied to carry pumped rainwater from the tank towards the required application, with hose options available to suit different installations.

The delivery will be unloaded from the vehicle by the delivery personnel; however, responsibility then passes to the customer to move the tank into position.
